The Minister of National Resources, on behalf of the Federal Republic of Somalia, announced that the Government has today signed an Agreement with Soma Oil and Gas Exploration Ltd, www.somaoilandgas.com a United Kingdom company.
Under the agreement the company will conduct seismic surveying to assist the development of Somalia’s hydrocarbons sector.
It is expected that this will attract further investment and facilitate exploration in an area of immense economic potential for the nation.
The agreement reflects the strength of the relationship between Somalia and the United Kingdom.
