Last month World Pulse celebrated World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development with the launch of our inaugural Community Advisory Board! This group will help fulfill World Pulse’s need to draw on the wisdom of our global community to advise our organization as we grow and develop new visions. Six women’s empowerment champions and long-time World Pulse community members generously volunteered to spearhead the initiative.
On May 21st, the advisory board kicked off with its first Skype call, joining members from four continents in a celebratory conversation full of laughter and excitement about their visions for their new role.
The Community Advisory Board will serve as representatives of our online community
to give input and recommendations to World Pulse’s staff and board of directors on important issues, projects, and organizational developments, and help generate new ideas and feedback to improve World Pulse’s value to the community.
You can follow their activities and connect with them here on the new World Pulse Community Advisory Board group page!
